Serrano's Salsa

OK, it's been a LONG time since I posted any new recipes!!! Not that I stopped cooking...I've been hopping like a sizzle on a skillet.

Anyway, I got a request for the salsa served at Serrano's (remember my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in Montana?). So I went there and dissected their salsa to replicate it.  Here is my best imitation:

Makes about a cup.

1 small can (4 oz) roasted diced green chilies
1 serrano pepper - chopped fine (and/or a medium sized chopped jalapeno)
1 green onion - chopped fine
1 small onion - chopped fine
2 roma tomatoes - chopped fine
a couple of tablespoons of chopped cilantro
dash of garlic powder
salt & pepper
juice from 1/2 lime
