Sausage Mushroom Bruchetta

Tired of holiday fare?  Need an appetizer? Make a loaf of my Crusty French Bread and leave on the counter for a day to dry out.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat bread on baking sheet until lightly toasted (about 5 minutes).

In a large skillet, brown and crumble sausage.  Add garlic and mushrooms.  Cook until mushrooms are soft.  Drain grease.  Mix in remaining ingredients and spoon over bread to edge.

Bake 5 minutes or until hot and bubbly.  Cut each half into 4 pieces.

Serve as is or add a bowl of soup to make a complete meal.
